• Competance: Combination of product develompement, materials technology, production technology and data processing.

Joining:

• Solid state bonding enables use of aluminium in indtustrial applications demanding high strength, low corrosion and light weight is important.
• Used for joining where traditional welding methodes are imopssible due to weakning of materials.
• Friction Stir Welding is a methode developed by TWI in 1991, equipment available in MTNC.
• Compentence: Welding process development and operation of Friction stir welding equipment by SINTEF Manufacturing.
